The Challenge

We’researching for a skilled Technical Writer to join our Technical Writing Team. The Technical Writing Team supports the Product Team by creating comprehensive knowledge base content, release materials, andadditionalpublications for theOneTrustplatform.We'reseeking an individual who thrives on organization,possessesmeticulous attention to detail, excels in verbal and written communication, and exercises these skills to produce high-quality documentation for our end users.

Your Mission

As a Technical Writer, you serve as the documentationspecialistwho createsdocumentation,knowledge basecontentand release materials to support a variety of audiences and products.You will:
  • Create and manage product-specific content, including procedural content, feature guides, release materials, and additional publications for the platform.
  • Collaborate with product teammates, implementation specialists, solution engineers, and other subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture relevant content and resources in our documentation and ensure its accuracy.
  • Develop your understanding of the product space as well as various Technical Writing deliverables to produce high-quality documentation.
  • Conduct independent testing of features and functionalities within the software.
  • Anticipate user needs for documentation, reflect on user feedback, and incorporate any necessary changes for maximum impact.
  • Understand and adhere to our Technical Writing Style Guide and contribute to its refinement as needed.
  • Actively participate in meetings and create cross-team collaboration where necessary to address team or business goals.

You Are

You are an organized,detail-orientedand data-drivenTechnical Writer with software documentation experience who can evaluatevarious factorstodeterminethe best methods to produce desired results.Your qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Englishor Professional Writing (Technical Writing, Journalism).
  • Proven track record for producing high-quality software documentation through direct testing of features and functionalities in the software and utilization of existing resources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to absorb technical details and effectively communicate this content to non-technical users.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate competing priorities and deliverables in an agile environment.
  • Experience collaborating with various global teams.
  • Strong desire to learn and open to embracing new concepts and processes.

Your Experience Includes

  • At least 2 years of professional writing experience.
  • Experience with structured content authoring tools.
  • Comfort with basic image manipulation (cropping, adding mark-up, etc.).
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Innovation and automation using AI tools and agents.

Extra Awesome

  • Familiarity with SaaS companies andagilesoftwaredevelopment.
  • Proficiency with API documentation.
  • Experience with Paligo (CCMS).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
